I’m Sambath — but everyone around here just calls me Bathy. Collecting has always been more than a hobby to me — it’s part of who I am. My story starts with a beat-up shoebox. That’s where I kept my very first Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! cards. To most people, it was just cardboard in a box. But to me, it was treasure — my very own loot box. Inside were my favorite pulls, cards I’d traded for, decks I’d built, and the sparks that reminded me why I first fell in love with the hobby.

When Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! first hit the U.S., I was hooked. Like so many of you, I spent afternoons trading in the schoolyard, late nights building decks, and weekends chasing the thrill of opening new packs. What started as a childhood obsession turned into a lifelong passion. Over the years, that shoebox grew into binders and shelves — and eventually into something more. I realized what I loved most wasn’t just collecting for myself, but sharing that excitement with others. The stories, the community, the rush of discovery — those were the real treasures.

That’s how Bathy’s Loot Box was born. This shop is my way of bringing back that shoebox feeling for every collector who walks through the door or clicks onto the site. Here, every card matters — whether it’s a common or a grail. Every pull has a story. And every collector is part of the journey.
